Auslogics Disk Defrag

...a try. It is a freeware utility that seems to do a pretty decent job of quickly (at least quicker than Windows' own defragger) defraging a hard disk.

My disks only defraged down to about 6 to 8% fragmentation (vs. the optimal 0 to 2% I hoped for). But, that may be a result of some pecularity of the files on my system (lots of virtual hard disks) or my lack of understanding of Windows hard disk fragmentation.

Still the price is right and Auslogics Disk Defrag seems to work well enough to keep my disks from slowing down too much because of fragmentation.
