Qipit: Optimize Text in Photos and Convert to PDF

The Qipit free web service takes photos from cameraphones and digital cameras and converts the text in those images to PDF files. I gave and example of how it took the photo I took with a cameraphone and did a good job of converting that to a PDF on my MobileViews blog.
Today, I took a photo created using a conventional digital camera. But, this image has some different challenges associated with it. The photo was taken when I attended the O'Reilly/CMP Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco last year. You can see from the original photo on the left that the photo is of a projected slide and that I was at an angle relative to the projected image. Qipit not only did a pretty decent job managing the text from the slide but it also corrected for the skew caused by the angle of my camera relative to the slide. The system also warned me that my image was of poor quality.
All in all, I'm pretty impressed by my first two images conversion tests using Qipit.
