OpenVPN GUI for Windows
While we patiently wait for the GRC/Security Now's Steve Gibson to provide us with the definitive OpenVPN how-to that he mentioned on a Security Now podcast back in late 2005(and, hey, he's doing this for free, so let's cut him some slack :-)... If you are a Windows user, you might want to take a look at...
Its website description reads: OpenVPN is normally run in a console window, which can be a little annoying to have lying on the taskbar all the time. OpenVPN GUI lets you run OpenVPN without this console window. Instead you get an icon in the notification area (the area on the right side of the taskbar) from which you can control OpenVPN to start/stop your VPN tunnels, view the log, change your password and other useful things.

Although there's no word on
Although there's no word on a final release date, and some core functionality is missing, this actively-developed OpenVPN GUI project http://sourceforge.net/projects/openvpn-admin/ looks much nicer and more appealing to non-techies in need of VPN client functionality. GUI-driven configuration, more modern UI design, and non-ugly icons.
Amen to that Brother Ogasa!
Amen to that Brother Ogasa! For the record, I bought a copy of Spinrite to show my support for the VPN Guide! Perhaps you could tell us how OpenVPN compares to Crossloops at http://www.crossloop.com/
