I'll write more about what I learned after I push out the podcast recording of that conversation during the weekend. However, I did want to point it out now since I gained quite a bit off comfort with how the service works and the security it provides. Free client software is available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The iPhone is also supported and just requires a few VPN configuration items too be set on it (no software needed).

I'm using it on a Asus Eee PC netbook running Windows 7 Beta right now.
