PDFCreator 0.9.3 is an Open Source application for Microsoft Windows that creates a pseudo-printer driver to create PDF files. It works great with Microsoft Office 2003.
BTW: Microsoft had to remove the integrated PDF creation ability from Office 2007. However, they are providing a free add-on utility to restore that functionality there.
The PDF Creator download
The PDF Creator download page is ill thought out: a classic example of why the ordinary Windows user is frightened off by open source software. The page shows 4 options for download, presenting them as equivalent choices. They are not. Not everyone is an IT pro. who knows what Source means. Similarly the Ghostscript option would confuse most people - is it better to have it or not to have it?.
The page should show just the latest non-beta version without any add-ons as the default download, and then a link to follow for any additional options/versions and the source that a more experienced user might want.
